Team Aston

Today we made the trip to CF clinic. We attend clinic about every 3 months. Because people with CF can’t be close to each other we are in our own room while our team visit us. Our team will stay with Aston until he is 18 years old, and they have been a great help this year. Due to covid we were not allowed visitors during Aston’s long hospital admission, seeing our team is what kept me (semi) sane each day.
The funds raised through 65k roses will directly benefit our amazing team.

Aston was diagnosed with cystic fibrosis when he was 7 weeks old. Cystic fibrosis is an incurable genetic disorder that affects the lungs, pancreas and liver. 1 in every 2500 babies are born with CF, but on average 1 in 25 people carry the gene.
We are so lucky to have an amazing medical team of doctors, nurses, dieticians, physios, pharmacists, psychologists and social workers to assist us in managing Aston’s condition and these people only exist due to fundraisers such as this.
